Kale Montag and Delaney Fetters announce their athletic careers will continue at the collegiate level after outstanding performances this past season.
Fetters signed with Ellsworth Community College, and the Panthers got themselves one great outfielder. This past summer, she had 39 putouts, four assists, and only one error in 42 games. At the plate, her batting average was an incredible .400 flat. She racked up 48 hits, eight for extra bases, and 20 RBIs. With 22 steals, good for second on the Mustangs, she is a complete 5-tool player.
Montag chose to sign with Indian Hills, and she will be taking her talents to the infield, the circle, and the plate with the Warriors. A versatile playmaker on the infield dirt, Montag is also a talented pitcher, tossing 71 innings in 2025 to go along with 41 strikeouts and a 1.77 ERA to earn nine wins and three losses. On offense, she was all but unstoppable. Montag boasted a .481 batting average with 42 hits, seven of them doubles, with two home runs and 21 RBIs.
Both talented girls are set to play their senior season for the Mustangs in 2026 before moving on to play college softball.
