Adel-DeSoto-Minburn senior dancer Isabel Karwal discusses her favorite venue to perform at during the season.

Karwal shares that she grew up around dance, and a friend encouraged her to join the Tiger team for her freshman year, where she quickly fell in love with it. She emphasizes that her friendships have grown tremendously since being on the dance team, getting closer with both upperclassmen and underclassmen. 

Simply put, Karwal enjoys the art of dancing, as it acts as an expression without having to be vocal. Karwal explains why she prefers dancing at the Casey’s Center in Des Moines.

“Because that’s where state is (at). As a senior now, it’s very nostalgic now just thinking back and a lot of fun, and a lot of great memories are there.”

ADM will perform at the state meet on December 5th. Following graduation, Karwal is planning to attend the University of Iowa to double major in Criminology and Psychology on the Pre-Med track.
