The DCG Mustangs boys golf team had one senior on this year’s roster, so their path to success in the future is clear going forward.

Grady Stiles was the lone senior on the Mustangs this year, but he didn’t record any stats, via varsity bound, on the 2025 run to the state championship. With that in mind, a roster of six juniors and one sophomore have all their goals out in front of them.

This squad placed 6th in state and with all qualifying golfers returning, they know what they have to do to build on what they did this season. Chase Perrin and Gavin Drake were the team leaders in average with 73.42 and 73.92 strokes respectively. Avery Van Zelderen had the lowest score in 18 holes with 68 shots. All three of those golfers were juniors in 2025 and will look to improve for 2026.

An offseason of training and hard work stands in front of them, but each member of this team knows what it takes to make it to the top and won’t let anything stand in their way.
