Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball players consisting of sophomore Ella Subbert, junior Alexis Maxwell, and senior Brecken Morse will be apart of tonight’s Raccoon Valley Bank Dallas County PM Sports Magazine on KDLS.

The 2025 basketball season is quickly approaching, as the Tigers’ first game is just one week away, opening up on the road in Norwalk next Monday, November 24th. Last year, ADM concluded the season with a 15-10 overall record (9-7; 5th inside the Raccoon River Conference), and was defeated by North Polk in the Class 4A Regional Championship game. Maxwell, who scored 220 total points last season, shares that she’s been working on her deep ball.

“Well obviously I was shooting fine last year, so I wanted to be able to shoot with more hands in my face, shoot more farther away, so I’ve been working on range. And then also getting to the basket better (and) being stronger.”

Morse believes that this Tiger team is going to surprise people this season.

“I’m kind of ready to just prove some people wrong. I feel like ADM Girls Basketball is really underrated and I feel like we’ll definitely have a shot at winning the conference title.”

The full interview with Maxwell, Morse, and Subbert can be heard tonight on the Raccoon Valley Bank Dallas County PM Sports Magazine airing on KDLS 94.3/99.7 FM and AM 1310, starting at 6pm. The show also features interviews with Perry and Dallas Center-Grimes High Schools athletics.
