It was an exciting day at the state swim meet for the Perry Jayettes and Aleah Karlous, as Karlous made school history with record breaking times in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.

Karlous, found success in both events, placing 10th in the 50 freestyle finishing in 24.25 seconds scoring seven points. In the 100 freestyle, Karlous continued to find success, finishing in 10th place in 53.71 seconds for another school record.

Only a junior, Karlous wraps up her swim season breaking two school records and participated at two events at state.  Karlous looks to return hungry for more success in 2026 for her final season on the Jayettes swim team.
