The Greene County School Board will meet in regular session tomorrow.
The meeting will begin with the retiring board, as they will review the administrative reports and the canvass of votes from the November 4th city/school election.
Then, the organizational meeting will take place with the Oath of Office for the elected board members, followed by the election of the board president and vice president. The Board will then consider for approval school driving permits, fundraiser and early graduation requests, Board committee assignments and discuss possibly offering early retirement for staff.
Additionally, the Board will consider for approval a developed special education service delivery plan, two School Budget Review Committee requests for open enrollment out for the students that were not counted on the previous certified enrollment report, and the English Language Learners weighted beyond five years. They will also consider approving a 28E agreement with the city of Scranton for a bus stop and a monitor, along with an industrial technology equipment purchase, and hear an update on the solar panel project.
The meeting will take place in-person and remotely at 5:15pm tomorrow evening in the District Boardroom at the middle school. Click here to access the meeting remotely.
