The DCG boys basketball team opens up the season at home against ADM in two weeks, and they couldn’t be more excited to get going.

The Mustangs return nine players to the 2025-26 roster after nine seniors graduate, and the majority are starters or bench players who played major roles in Joel Rankin’s game plan. The new group this season has a lot to live up to with Sophomore Chase Perrin and Senior Hudson Heidgerken leading the charge. These two had the most points among returning players, with 149 and 103, respectively.

Junior Brody Burke will play a big role again this year as the big man on the court after 20 starts in last year’s campaign. Burke collected 83 rebounds on the season, with 25 of them being offensive, second on the team on both counts. He’ll look to make his impact by cleaning the glass on both ends of the floor.

An exciting time for DCG boys basketball as they see this team look to take on a new challenge of finding their identity with the season on the horizon. The Mustangs open up the year in the second game of a doubleheader against the ADM Tigers at home on December 2nd.
