The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Esports Team is gearing up for the postseason, with their first matchup in Class 3A on Friday.

ADM will battle Iowa City West in the Class 3A Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fall Showdown, seeking their first state title. The Tigers are going into Friday’s match with a 6-1 regular season record, with victories against Waukee, Urbandale, Gilbert, Glenwood, Ames, and Knoxville. The only loss ADM suffered was to Waukee Northwest on October 14th.

Other teams in the Fall Showdown include Waukee Northwest, Linn-Mar, Waterloo East, Davenport Central, Keokuk, and Marshalltown. The competition begins at 8:15am on Friday for the Tigers.
