
The Iowa High School Athletic Association hosts the seven State Championship football games tomorrow and Thursday inside the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. Those games will mark the end of the 2025 season.
Greene County has been done playing football for awhile, but head coach Caden Duncan says he and his staff talk a lot to their players about making the most of opportunities because in football, and life, they can be limited. “That really hits home for them when they’re seniors. We constantly tell them, ‘Don’t have regrets because that time flies by.’ The coach added when playing careers on done they have two things left- memories and regrets. He hopes their are a lot more memories than regrets.
