The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday.

Dallas County Auditor Elections Administrator Emily Reidburn read through all the votes tallied for the second tier of all the elected officials in the county on November 4. The Supervisors then approved the canvass of votes.

Farnsworth Group Architect Principal Kristofer Orth addressed the Board to discuss the Dallas County Courthouse renovation project, including a possible alternate for work on the second floor. Following discussion, the Supervisors said more information will be needed to move forward with the project.

Items on the agenda that were approved included consensus from the Board for a county comprehensive plan reason for proposal, a resolution for a family farm tax credit, a Master Matrix Construction Permit for expansion at Lincoln Township, following the public hearing; and a resolution for a name change for a portion of White Oak Lane to Hidden Valley Drive.

The Board also held pre-budget workshops for multiple departments, including Veterans Affairs, Juvenile Court Services and Secondary Roads.
