The Dallas County Hospital celebrated the remodel of several portions of the facility with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday.

The remodeled areas included the Cardiopulmonary Department, Senior Life Solutions Center, Outpatient Ambulatory Services, patient registration area and the surgery locker room area.

Perry Chamber Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti expresses her thanks to the whole team at the Dallas County Hospital and Family Medicine Clinic for their dedication to the community.

“Not only is this hospital and clinic a major employer and critical service provider, but also such a strong community partner. The continued investment, growth and improvements have such a positive impact on our community here in Perry but also Dallas County and surrounding areas.”

Chief Executive Officer Angela Mortoza adds that while the hospital has been around for over 70 years, the organization continues to look to the future.

“When you look around in our hospital currently, in this facility, you can see remnants from our past and symbols of our history that show what fixtures we’ve been in our community and that we’re going to continue to be a fixture in our community. The remodels and renovations that Dr. Ash mentioned, plus expansions from the beginning of this century, show our dedication as forerunners for not only patient care, but also our providers and our physicians.”

Open house tours of the refreshed spaces were available following the ribbon cutting.
