The DCG girls wrestling group had their first meet of the season on Tuesday night at Gilbert High School for a quad match.

The Mustangs girls wrestled well but unfortunately came up short in the matches against Carlisle, Fort Dodge, and Gilbert. The dual with Fort Dodge was the closest the girls came to victory with a 45-36 loss to the Dodgers. DCG dropped the next two by a score of 48-36 and 54-28 to the Tigers and the Indians.

A valiant first effort in the season for the Mustangs who look to bounce back on Saturday in Urbandale at the home of the Jayhawks for a multi-school meet.
