Governor Kim Reynolds recently announced her appointment of a new district associate judge that will serve a portion of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area.

According to the Governor’s Office, Thomas Ogden was appointed to fill the vacancy for Kevin Parker, who retired as the Judge for Judicial Election District 5A. The district includes Dallas, Guthrie, Jasper, Madison, Marion and Warren counties.

The Governor’s Office says Ogden is from Indianola and is an Assistant Polk County Attorney. He received an undergraduate degree from Hillsdale College and his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
