The Greene County High School varsity basketball teams play Panorama in Panora tonight in Achieve Challenge scrimmages. Admission is likely to be charged, there will be game officials, players in uniforms, just like a real game, only the score and statistics won’t count on the season record. A community service project is chosen by each school to coincide with playing in the event, and the Rams have chosen a food drive.

Tori Ogden is the girls’ head coach of the Rams. The return of senior guard Becca Anderson should be a big booster to the Rams. Anderson missed all of last season due to recovering from reconstructive knee surgery, and she missed most of her sophomore campaign due to transferring to Greene County without establishing residency within the district.

Chris Nelson is the boys’ head coach at Greene County. A number of players return from last season, and senior Carter Hinote is back out for the sport, which the coach is confident, will help the Rams.
