It’s the first large scale meet of the season for the Perry Jayettes wrestling squad as the Jayettes travel to Nevada for the Central Iowa Kickoff Tournament. The Jayettes will be one of 33 teams in attendance, with the action set to begin at 10am.

Four other local teams will be in attendance as the Jayettes could face off against wrestlers from Ogden, Panorama, Raccoon River-Northwest and Woodward-Granger. Perry faced off against Raccoon River-Northwest at the SWAT Quad on Thursday, falling 66-12. Cate Erickson and Hanna Sucher picked up the lone two victories for the Jayettes, with both girls winning by fall.

This is the last meet for the Jayettes before the Thanksgiving Holiday break, with Perry traveling to Nevada today for the Central Iowa Kickoff Tournament. The action is set to begin today at 10am.
