The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Esports Team concluded a stellar season, placing third in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Class 3A Fall Showdown on Friday.

The Tigers began the competition versus Iowa City West, picking up a win, then fell in two close games against Linn-Mar 13-9 and 13-11, which put them into the consolation bracket. ADM was next matched up with Keokuk, as they moved past them in two games (13-10 and 15-7), then beat Marshalltown in the third place game 14-7 and 14-6 to take home the bronze trophy. During the spring season, the Tigers Esports Team also was awarded third place. ADM ended the regular season with a 6-1 record.
