The Dallas County Hospital celebrated the remodel of several portions of the facility with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday.
The remodeled areas included the Cardiopulmonary Department, patient registration area and the sterile processing room.
Perry Chamber Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti expresses her thanks to the whole team at the Dallas County Hospital and Family Medicine Clinic for their dedication to the community.
“Not only is this hospital and clinic a major employer and critical service provider, but also such a strong community partner. The continued investment, growth and improvements have such a positive impact on our community here in Perry but also Dallas County and surrounding areas.”
Chief Executive Officer Angela Mortoza adds that while the hospital has been around for 70 years, the organization continues to look to the future.
“As you look around more of the facility, you can certainly see remnants from our past and symbols from our history that show what a fixture we’ve been in this community, and we are so proud and thankful for that. The remodels and renovations, plus expansions, from the beginning of this century, show our dedication to being a frontrunner for not only patient care, but also for providers as they explore where to practice medicine and establish roots at.”
Open house tours of the refreshed spaces were available following the ribbon cutting.
