The Panorama Girls Wrestling Team participated in the Central Iowa Varsity Kickoff on Saturday in Nevada, where wrestlers faced off against individuals from Carroll and Ogden.

In the 100 pound weight category, Panthers’ Natalie Waltz lost to the Bulldog’s Trinity Stoneburner in a fall (1 minute and 14 seconds). In the second round of the championship bracket, Panorama’s Gracie Recker (155 lbs.) beat Carroll’s Skylar Bloyer by a fall in 29 seconds, then Panthers’ Emma Walker (190 lbs.) defeated West Marshall’s Reese Buschbom in a fall, which took 35 seconds, but then fell to Ogden’s Grace Hammer by a fall (54 seconds) in the quarterfinals.

Panorama will return to the mat on Monday, December 1st at Manson Northwest Webster High School at 5pm.
