The Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center School Boards met separately in November.
Superintendent Josh Rasmussen shares that the Boards did this to help keep the meetings shorter due to the GC Board holding their organizational meeting to swear in the newly elected members. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio about the main topic for the AC Board.
“Basically, De Novo Construction Solutions gave a facility assessment update to the Board. So most of the meeting was just discussion around the conditions of our facility and kind of where De Novo and their team identified where some needs would be as far as facility improvements or updates.”
Rasmussen mentions that the Board did not take action on the item, and will return to the topic in their December meeting. He adds that they also discussed the whole grade sharing agreement, before approving the corrective action plan to the School Budget Review Committee, the review is Board policy series 600-900, and the purchase of track and field hurdles.
