The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Basketball Team open the 2025-26 regular season tonight on the road in Norwalk, and Raccoon Valley Radio will have the broadcast.

The Tigers have a tough test facing off versus the Warriors, but they are getting more familiar with each other, as they’ve played every year since 2009. ADM tallied 15 wins last year and lost to North Polk in the Class 4A Regional Championship, while Norwalk was 23-2 on the season, as they fell to Xavier in the Class 4A State Tournament. Tigers Head Coach Danielle Craig is heading into her second season, and sophomore Ella Subbert enjoys the leadership she displays.

“I love that pushes us and holds us accountable, but also I know that she cares about us as people too.”

Junior Alexis Maxwell says the team chemistry is off the charts.

“Everybody is getting along. I feel like the freshmen are very comfortable and I feel like that’s a say on us (upperclassmen) being able to make them comfortable coming in. Everything has been going great, we’ve been able to give each other advice and stuff, and it’s all I think really great.”

Norwalk leads the historical series 10-6, and have won the previous two match ups versus ADM. Tip off will be at 7pm tonight from Norwalk High School and Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting around 6:45pm.
