The city of Adel has a new city administrator.
According to the city, Timothy Vick was selected to be the new Adel City Administrator, replacing former City Administrator Anthony Brown, who resigned in June. City officials say after partnering in a national search process, 22 candidates were picked and from there finalists were chosen by various panels that included elected and appointed officials, along with community members. Vick and three other finalists were part of a recently held meet and greet event on November 13th, where the public got a chance to interface with each individual.
Vick has served the past 20 years as the City Administrator for the city of Manchester and he will start in his new role on January 12th. Raccoon Valley Radio will have more information on this story tomorrow.
