Thanksgiving is around the corner, which means there will be holiday closures in Adel, Perry and Dallas County offices.

Perry City Offices, Perry Water Works, Perry Public Library and the McCreary Community Building will be closed on Thursday and Friday. While the McCreary Building will be closed, members can still access the 24-Hour Fitness Room. Residential garbage routes set for Thursday will be picked up on Wednesday with no change to Friday’s routes. There will also be no yard waste collection on Wednesday.

Adel City Hall will be closed Wednesday through Friday. While there will be no change for Tuesday and Wednesday’s garbage routes, pickup for Thursday and Friday will be delayed by one day. The Adel Public Library will shut its doors at 2 p.m. on Wednesday and will remain closed Thursday through Saturday.

The Dallas County Courthouse and Dallas County ISU Extension will both be shut Wednesday through Friday for the holiday break.
