The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday morning.
The Board set a public hearing on the Calmer Subdivision for December 9th at 9:30am. Later in the meeting Supervisor Steve Smith asked what the others thought about getting prepared for discussions and actions on the emergency medical services as an essential service measure that will be coming up.
“I would just comment that, on EMS, knowing that we’re going to have to do something. I would like to sit down with someone so it’s not so clumsy and just kind of work out maybe a timeline or maybe some things, and then bring, of course, all the things to talk about and discuss. I think our time will be better used if we have something that’s organized to talk about.”
The Board also approved the letter of resignation of Vicki Gubser from the Guthrie County Regional Airport Authority Board, and the second appropriation resolution for fiscal year 2025-26. The seat left open by Gubser’s resignation will remain open until filled, and those interested in filling the seat can fill out an application on the County website.
