A memorial service for Ron LeMay, 84 of Jefferson, will be held on Saturday, December 6, at the First Presbyterian Church, 208 W. State Street in Jefferson.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, the service at 11:00 AM, followed by a luncheon.  Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Jefferson is assisting the family.

He is survived by his wife, Ione; two daughters, Elaine (Brian) Appleby of West Des Moines, Iowa, and LeAnn (Doug) Monaghan of Jefferson, Iowa; and six grandchildren: Jason (Cassie) Kay of Creston, Aaron (Anna) Kay of Clive, Patrick (Desiree) Monaghan of Gowrie, Emily (Joe) Gannon of Rippey, Amy Monaghan of Des Moines, and Eric (Erin) Monaghan of Weston, Florida. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, with one on the way; a great-great-granddaughter; one brother, Jay and two sisters, Terry and Rhonda as well as many dear friends.
