Following a unanimous vote in the US Senate last week to release the files on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, one Iowa Senator has been looking for that to happen well before the vote came up.
Senator Chuck Grassley shares how long he has been pushing to see the files about Epstein becoming public.
“Ever since he committed suicide in that New York jail, I have been trying to get everything about Epstein out into the public because I believe transparency is very, very important.”
Grassley adds that he is happy to see almost a unanimous vote from both chambers of the US Congress vote to make the files public and having President Donald Trump sign it has been a long time coming.
