The DCG activities calendar is absolutely packed with sports once the month of December hits, and Mustangs fans can prepare for a full slate.

The final month of 2025 kicks off with a girls’ wrestling dual after the freshman boys basketball team gets a game earlier in the day. Then both varsity basketball teams hit the hardwood on Tuesday for double-barrel action, hosting ADM. Wednesday is a lighter slate, but the girls’ dance team spends the day in downtown Des Moines at the state dance competition inside the Casey’s Center. 

On Thursday, state dance continues on day two, while back in Dallas Center, both boys and girls wrestling hit the mats against Norwalk. While the dance team hopes for good results during the day, Friday night is another back-to-back basketball gameday with the two teams traveling to Des Moines Christian.

After filling up on food during this Thanksgiving, Mustangs fans can prepare for another feast of a full activities slate in December.
