On Tuesday, the Perry Bluejays basketball team played host to the St. Edmond Gaels for jamboree action at Perry High School.

The Bluejays and the Gaels battled for two quarters, with Perry falling short to St. Edmond 33-19. The Bluejays bounced back after a slow start in the first quarter, with senior Nile McClintock punching in a three to bring life to the Perry offense. Sophomore Reid Iben scored the final points for the Bluejays, notching in two after a fast break lay up, then drawing the shooting foul on another lay up while notching in the free throw, scoring five points for Perry in the final seconds.

After the Thanksgiving holiday, the Bluejays prepare for the official first game of the season on Tuesday, December 3rd, traveling to Greene County High School to face off against the Rams. The girls tip off first at 6pm with the boys to follow at 7:30. Coverage on KDLS is set to begin at 5:45pm.
