Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be hosting a fun event on Wednesday.

Youth Coordinator Rachel Muir says that the Guthrie County Master Gardeners will be holding a Winter Pots and Tasty Plates workshop. She mentions that the class will take place at the Extension office in Guthrie Center from 6-8pm. Muir adds that all materials to make the pot, as well as supplies for the snake will be provided, but that they suggest bringing garden gloves and hand pruners or old scissors. She explains that registration is required for the event, and that the cost to register is $30.
