The Mustangs host a four-team get-together the day after Thanksgiving to share something they all love, basketball. 

Four teams arrive at the Meadows Main Gym for a scrimmage on Friday morning. Carlisle, North Polk, and Waukee join the varsity boys basketball team for a friendly exhibition match to work off the Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pie from 10 am – 12:30 pm today. This all comes before the season officially begins on Tuesday, December 2nd. 

More work for the Mustangs is something they are in need of, with only two weeks of practice under their belt. Head coach Joel Rankin and his coaching staff look to prepare the boys for a long season ahead with a fast start next week.
