In their November meeting, the Panorama School Board heard about revisions to graduation requirements.
Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that they heard from High School Guidance Counselor Chris Webner, who came to the Board to tell them of the changes made to the requirements, and why those changes were made.
“Mr. Webner, our high school guidance counselor, came in and just addressed the Board. And we’re looking at changes on high school graduation requirements. With a schedule change here a couple of years ago, we’ll need to adapt our graduation requirements so that all kids are able to stay on track to graduate with their current credits.”
Huebner mentions that the schedule change was made to align the middle and high school schedules, which also changed up the amount of class credits that high school students would have at the end of their senior year. He adds that the revisions to the requirements would drop the needed credits from 56 to 52.
