The Adair Chamber of Commerce is ready to get into the swing of the holiday season next weekend.
The Chamber will be holding their Christmas Extravaganza, along with the 29th annual Festival of Trees. They will be at the Adair Community Center from 1-4pm with vendors, cookie decorating, free face painting, hot cocoa and coffee, along with live music. The Adair Library will be open from 10am to noon with a Children’s Christmas Shop, where all items will be only 50 cents. Events at the Adair Fire Hall include a display of trees, wreaths and nativity scenes, a scavenger hunt, and apple cider and popcorn from 2-7pm. There will also be a free-will donation for local scholarships and community projects, along with a chance to win a tree.
Still at the fire hall, there will be a free will donation soup supper put on by the Adair Lions Club from 4:30-7pm, along with a visit from Santa, and drawings for chamber bucks from 5-6pm. Little Big Band will provide live music from 4:30-6:30pm.
