
The Perry Jayettes basketball team look to keep momentum on their side after the Thanksgiving break, after defeating Des Moines Hoover in the season opener on Monday. After a couple days off, the Jayettes look to continue to find success returning to action on Tuesday in Greene County.
Lily Myers and Karagyn Whelchel look to keep momentum on their side after breakout performances against Hoover on Monday. Myers achieved a double double, scoring 20 points with 20 rebounds going 9/26 in field goals. Whelchel found success beyond the arc, going 5/12 from the three point line ending the night with 15 points.
Whelchel and Myers look to keep momentum on the Jayettes side come Tuesday in Greene County after time away from the court due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
