The Stuart Emergency Services departments were supposed to host their Emergency Services Christmas celebration for the community today, according to Police Sergeant Katie Guisinger.
Guisinger explains that due to predicted snow fall, they have moved the event to next Saturday. The police, fire, and rescue departments are all collaborating for the event. Festivities will take place from 11am to 1pm and include a visit from Santa, who will be available for pictures and will hand out take-home goodie bags. Attendees can also decorate cookies, enjoy a Christmas coloring and craft station, and have a hot dog and chips lunch.
