Parents or guardians of younger school-aged kids are encouraged to sign up for a program with Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department.
JPRD Director Nathan Kral says kindergarten through fourth graders are invited to register for a tumbling class that meets on Mondays from December 1st-22nd from 4-4:40pm at the Greene County Community Center. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio, participants will learn basic skills such as rolls, jumps and cartwheels, while also keeping a focus on tailoring the program to different levels of tumbling.
Kral states the program will be led by Elli Wolterman and the cost to participate is $30 for community center members and $35 for non-members. Contact the community center at 515-386-3412, stop by or click here to sign up.
