An organization in Jefferson is opening its doors to those who need a little extra help shopping ahead of Christmas. 

Ann Frederick, with Central Christian Church, says their 4th Annual Free Christmas Gift Market is this Saturday and Sunday. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio local folks have given new or nice regiftable items that they want people to use and if someone can, that’s terrific. Frederick points out that this is a small town Iowa nice gesture that is a win for everyone. 

Frederick states that there are toys, blankets, kitchen and other household items, along with books, snow gear, among other things available. She adds that the Free Christmas Gift Market is open to the public, especially to those who may have had a hard year. 

The gift market will be open on Saturday from 9am-4pm and Sunday from 1-3pm at the Central Christian Church in Jefferson.
