Those looking to get through a stack of books this winter can be rewarded while reading through the Perry Public Library.
Adult Services Librarian Mindy Farmer says the Winter Library Program kicks off today and runs through February 28, and this year’s theme is “Booked for the Winter.” Farmer states that the program is open to children, teens and adults. She details that everyone can participate by tracking each day they read through an app or paper calendar to earn prizes.
Farmer suggests for children and teens to track their reading points for mini-prizes and up to four free books. She says adults can earn rewards too by tracking the days they read to be entered into a bi-monthly mini prize drawing.
All three age groups can also earn grand prize tickets.
Registration is available for the Winter Reading Program beginning today. Anyone interested can contact the library at 515-465-3569 or click here to sign up.
