The AC/GC Chargers basketball teams will be in action at home for the first time this season.

The teams host the West Central Valley Wildcats, the two teams facing each other for the first time this season. The Chargers girls already have a win under their belt, and are looking to keep the streak going. AC/GC beat West Central Valley in both games last season, the first 48-27, and the second 48-30. Junior Olivia Mahaffey is the scoring leader after one game, with 14 points to her name. Fellow junior Stella Largent leads in rebounds with 11, while junior Meranda Gruber and senior Karli Kautzky are tied for the lead in assists with five apiece.

The Chargers boys will be playing in their first game of the season, and will be showing off a new look as they only have one returning starter from last season. AC/GC won both of the games last season, taking the first 82-57, and the second 79-39. The girls game begins at 6pm, with the boys game to follow.
