
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Basketball Team will play in their third game tonight, as the boys start the 2025-26 season on the road, facing Dallas Center-Grimes.
The Tiger girls are 0-2 in the early season, with losses to Norwalk (63-41) and a close 59-55 defeat against Des Moines Christian from this past Tuesday, November 25th. Last year, ADM fell to DCG 48-44 with the Mustangs leading the overall historical series 29-5 dating back to 2006.
On the boys side, the Tigers are coming off a state tournament appearance in the Class 3A Tournament, where they fell to Clear Lake 66-57 in the semifinal round in Des Moines. ADM kicked off the season by hosting DCG in Adel and came away with an 84-81 victory in overtime, which strung together five straight wins for the Tigers. Similar to the girls, the Mustangs hold a 22-8 historical series advantage over ADM, including winning eight consecutive games prior to last year.
The girls game will tip off at 6pm tonight from DCG High School, with the boys following afterwards. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting around 5:45pm.
