It’s the first game of the season for the Perry Bluejays basketball team tonight as Perry faces off against the Greene County Rams immediately following the Jayettes and Rams match up. Tip off for the boys is scheduled for 7:30pm.
Coach David Morris reflected on the Bluejays’ game plan with Drahos as the lead returner for Perry.
“I don’t think he’s going to be a one man show (Drahos). We’ve got guys like Owen Zander. We’ve got guys like Gavin Lindsay. There’s a lot of younger guys who are ready to step into some roles and score a little bit more. I just think that Gus is going to be more established as our leading scorer, and our main guy coming back so he’s going to get double and triple covered a lot so I think those guys who are going to have to step up are going to have to make an instant impact.”
Tip off is scheduled for 7:30pm tomorrow from Greene County High School. Coverage on KDLS begins at 5:45pm before the girls match up.
