The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Dance Team will be heading to Des Moines on Friday to participate in the Iowa State Dance Championships.

The Tigers will take their three routines of Contemporary, Hoopla, and Pom to state to match up against some of the most prominent schools within the state of Iowa. ADM will be led by three seniors of Jordan Crannell, Isabel Karwal, and Genevieve Book. Crannell describes how she’s been toggling between school and preparing for the big competition.

“Knowing that I need to take the time to get my schoolwork done is really something important. But then also something that I use to balance my stress is just praying and talking to The Lord, and just asking Him for guidance on maybe what I should be doing and what’s more important for me in the moment, and what I should be focusing on.”

ADM’s Contemporary performance will take the stage around 10:50am, followed by Hoopla at 11:50am both at the EMC Expo Center. Then, Pom will end the day for the Tigers around 4:50pm at the Casey’s Center. All the performances will take place on Friday.
