The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The Board heard the annual report from Elderbridge Agency on Aging Representative Sandra Jackson, who shared that they are expecting federal funding cuts in the new fiscal year, and thanked the Supervisors for their past support. They also heard from County Attorney Dana Minteer on the sale of County owned property to private citizens or entities. She shared that this has been done in the past, but that they would need to figure out what benefit there is for the County to sell the property, and work with the County Assessor to discover a fair market value for the sale should they choose to proceed.

The Board then heard an update from Health Services Director Jotham Arber, who shared that their Home Health group has been doing well, and was looking to make a few changes, and that they were making some needed revisions to the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Plan. Arber also shared that work with both the jail and their clinics was going well. The Board then approved a deadline of January 2, 2026 for applications for the open position of the Guthrie County Airport Authority Board.
