Greene County’s girls and boys bowlers host Carroll High at 4 p.m. inside Spare Time Lanes in Jefferson. The matches are the first at home this season for Coach John Woodford’s teams after they opened their seasons in Adel last week, falling to ADM.

One of the highlights from the first meet of the season for the Greene County boys was junior Chase Fecher’s 470 series for two games. He rolled games of 240 and 230, and senior Teagan Chisholm also topped the 400 mark with a two games series of 403. The boys totaled 2,930 pins, which was the highest regular season total since the program was started in November 2023.

The Carroll girls are 0-2 with losses to Ballard (Huxley) and Denison-Schleswig while the Tigers are 1-0 on the boys’ side after winning vs. Ballard.
