Bluejays wrestling takes the mat for the first time in the 2025-26 season as Perry travels to Independence High School today for the Cliff Keen Independence Invitational. The action is set to begin at 2pm.

The Bluejays will arrive to Independence in mass today, with 27 wrestlers listed on the trackwrestling roster for Perry. Five seniors look to lead the charge for the Bluejays against wrestlers from 33 other schools, with some familiar faces in attendance including: Carlisle, North Polk, PCM, Roland-Story, and South Tama.

Its the season opener for the Perry Bluejays wrestling team as the Bluejays make the journey to Independence High School today. The action is set to begin at 2pm.
