
The Panorama Basketball Teams were not able to capture their first win against Madrid on the road on Friday, with the girls falling 40-32 and the boys lost 58-50.
Panthers girls came into the match 0-2, looking to knock off the Tigers. Panorama dropped their first two games versus Woodward-Granger 57-43 and IKM-Manning 57-53.
On the boys side, the Panthers got off to a good start, leading 19-10 after the first quarter. The Tigers responded with 18 points in the second quarter, but trailed 31-28. Each team was nearly identical in the third, as the Panthers led slightly 47-46 going into the final frame. Then Madrid outscored Panorama 12-3 to complete the 58-50 victory.
The Panthers girls and boys are now 0-3 on the season, as they’ll return home to Panorama on Tuesday, hosting Earlham.
