Community members can kick off their week with a soup supper and festive music in Perry.
The Perry High School Music Department will host a soup supper tomorrow night before the winter concert. The soup supper will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. in the high school commons.
Vocal Director Jenn Hillman says proceeds from the free-will meal will benefit Perry High School Music. She adds that they are currently raising funds for a trip to New York City in March 2026 along with general music department needs.
Tomorrow night’s concert will feature performances by the concert band, concert choir, treble clef choir, bass clef choir and select choir. The band and choir students will play familiar holiday tunes, including “Carol of the Bells,” “The Little Drummer Boy” and “Sleigh Ride,” along with new favorites, including “White Winter Hymnal” by Pentatonix.
Hillman encourages the community to support the music department tomorrow night.
“Our students work very hard in rehearsals and it would be great to have the community come out to support them at the soup supper and concert.”
The concert will be held at 7 p.m. in the Perry Performing Arts Center.
