The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball Teams will have their home opener in Adel, welcoming in Carroll, and Raccoon Valley Radio will have the broadcast.

It will be a Raccoon River Conference battle between the Orange and Red Tigers. For the girls, Carroll is 2-1 on the season with wins against Kuemper Catholic and Webster, and a loss to Carlisle. ADM is 0-4, as they’ve lost to Norwalk, Des Moines Christian, Dallas Center-Grimes, and North Polk.

On the boys side, the Orange Tigers have only played in one game, picking up a 54-53 victory against Carlisle, while the Red Tigers have rolled in their two wins versus DCG and North Polk. The ADM girls are led in scoring by sophomore Ella Subbert, averaging 12 points per game, while the boys are being charged by senior Hudson Lorensen, who is sitting at 28 points average.

Tip off for the girls begins at 6pm, with the boys game to follow from the ADM North Gym in Adel. Raccoon Valley Radio will have the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting at 5:45pm.
