It’s a full week of Perry Bluejays and Jayettes basketball at home as Perry begins the week today, playing host to the PCM Mustangs. The girls take the floor first at 6pm with the boys to follow at 7:30 with coverage on KDLS beginning at 5:45pm.
Coach Morris and the Jayettes look to bounce back after a tough loss on Friday against West Marshall last week, falling 54-16. Karagyn Whelchel lead the charge for Perry, ending the night with six points with Lily Myers behind her with four points and 10 rebounds.
The Bluejays also look to jump back into the win column, after falling to the Trojans in a comeback victory for West Marshall 41-36. Senior Gustavo Drahos continues to stay on fire so far this season, scoring 29 points and securing eight rebounds.
Whelchel, Myers, and Drahos look to help the Perry basketball teams bounce back to begin the week, facing off against PCM tonight with tip off scheduled for 6pm. Coverage on KDLS begins at 5:45pm from Perry High School.
