The AC/GC Chargers split their games against the Van meter Bulldogs.

The girls started things off with a close first quarter, finishing with a 14-12 lead, but opened things up in the second to go into the halftime break up 35-18. Scoring in the third quarter was close once again as the team went into the final quarter up 44-34, and finished the game with a 57-40 victory. Senior Becca Littler was a dominant force at the free throw line, drawing several fouls in the second quarter to begin building her scoring performance on the night.

The boys game started off slow, with the Bulldogs pulling to an early 14-2 lead, but a better second quarter sent them into the halftime break down 23-12. The third quarter was all AC/GC though, as the team put up 20 points, 18 of which came off three point shots, and they closed the gap to go into the final quarter down 36-32. Van Meter began pulling away in the fourth though, and the game ended with the 52-39 loss for the Chargers. The teams return to action Friday night as they host the Ogden Bulldogs.
