The Guthrie Center City Council met in regular session Monday night.
The Council approved the 2024/25 urban renewal report, a pay increase of four percent for the street/wastewater department, with the two non-supervisory employees receiving an extra 25 cent an hour increase for their recent completion of a gas bootcamp training. They also approved a four percent wage increase for city hall staff, with those wages to be paid out 50/50 with the Utility Board.
The Council then heard from City Administrator Kris Arrasmith, where she told them about how the software conversion is nearing completion, and that newly elected Council members would need to be sworn in at the next meeting.
