The Tigers also received the Top Team Academic Award, given to teams who have a combined Grade Point Average of 3.9 and higher.

The DCG Dance Team brought home a state solo championship along with top-10 placements on the team side.

Additionally, DCG Junior Katie Howard performed a solo to “A Natural Woman” by Aretha Franklin to become a back-to-back state champion in Class IX. This was the third year in a row that DCG has walked away with a state championship in the solo category.

The DCG Dance Team also placed third in Jazz, fifth in Hip-Hop and seventh in Pop and Mix. All four of the routines scored a Division 1 Rating.
